Her work focuses on inspiring people to connect deeply with their bodies, energy, and the people around them. Since discovering Ecstatic Dance, Adrea has found profound joy and healing in the freedom it provides to honor the body’s natural urge to move.   #### **About Adrea: A Journey of Healing and Movement** Adrea’s journey is rooted in understanding the interconnectedness of mind, body, and energy. As a Reiki Master-Teacher, she emphasizes the impact of actions, thoughts, and emotions on our energy fields and the collective energy of those around us. Her career as a massage therapist and yoga teacher has enabled her to guide others toward deeper self-awareness and well-being. Ecstatic Dance became a natural extension of her passion, offering a space where movement brings release, healing, and flow. Adrea believes the positive energy generated through Ecstatic Dance uplifts everyone who participates, creating a ripple effect of well-being and connection. #### **Facilitating at Ecstatic Dance Nyack** Adrea is trained as a **Contact Beyond Contact (CBC)** facilitator, a practice that integrates diverse dance modalities like Contact Improvisation and Passing Through with healing techniques. Her warm-ups invite participants to explore authentic connection with others through movement. This month’s warm-up will offer attendees a unique opportunity to experience CBC, fostering deeper human connection and self-expression through dance. #### **Why Adrea Loves Ecstatic Dance** For Adrea, Ecstatic Dance is more than movement; it’s a powerful tool for transformation. She is inspired by the community, freedom, and joy that the practice creates, and she’s passionate about helping others experience these benefits.
